I wouldn’t book through any of the broker sites like Orbitz or Hotels.com until you check hotel sites directly. I booked directly through the hotel website where I stayed and I watched the site every couple of days. Whenever the rate dropped, I called and asked for the lower rate. By the time I went the room was over $30 cheaper per night than when I originally booked it. I was so proud of myself.
